Dr Tanushree S Rath is currently working as Asst professor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at IMS & SUM Hospital, Bhubaneswar. She is a senior consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, high risk pregnancy management, laparoscopic surgery and infertility management.
She has completed her MBBS in 2008 and has done M.D. in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from SCB Medical College in the year 2013. She has undergone 6 months of senior residency in Gynaec Oncology from Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Centre(AHRCC), Cuttack and senior residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from SCB Medical College , Cuttack.
Dr. Tanushree has undergone her basic laparoscopic training under the flagship of Karl Storz’s “Women Health Initiative” Programme and there after has proceeded for advanced Gynaec laparoscopic surgery training from CEMAST, Mumbai under the guidance of Dr. T.E. Udwadia who is considered by many as the “father of laparoscopic surgery in India”.
She has done her FMAS( Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery) from AMASI, Kolkata. In addition she has also been trained and awarded “Fellowship in Gynaecological Laparoscopy” by Prof. Dr. Liselotte Mettler from University Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.
Dr. Tanushree has attended, presented and has been a part of the organising team in various state level and National level conferences. She has many publications to her credit in many reputed journals. Dr. Tanushree is a life member of various Obstetrics & Gynaecology organisations of national and international repute like IAGE, AMASI, ISOPARB, FOGSI , IMA etc.
She has worked and gained an experience of 10 years from a wide variety of patients attending tertiary care centre hospitals in both Government and private setups.
